Tilt bed In classic EVA style, the bed was modified to tilt up, in order to provide easy access to the batteries. First, by removing two clevis pins, the rear bumper drops. Then, the bed is lifted, with the assist of two gas struts. Even with the ladder racks, it is still pretty easy to lift (as long as it is on flat ground).
